The inspiration for today's project came from the art being done in my daughter's grade 1/2 class. They were drawing owls and ripping paper to glue on them. These were the drawing instructions given to me by the teacher.

The inspiration for today's project came from the art being done in my daughter's grade 1/2 class. They were drawing owls and ripping paper to glue on them. These were the drawing instructions given to me by the teacher.
I chose to rip up newspaper and glue it on my owl drawn on the back of a cereal box. I think the kids pictures may have turned out sweeter with their coloured construction paper and creative owls but here is mine.
